【Announcement】 Official Handover of the 28th Term of Directors and Supervisors

The 28th term of the Board of Directors and Supervisors of the Biochemical Society has completed the election process via postal voting. On May 8, 2024, at the meeting room 501 of the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and in the presence of Professor Ming-Shyue Lee and Professor Nei-Li Chan, the vote counting was successfully completed.

The 28th term of Executive Directors, Executive Supervisors, and President were elected during the 9th meeting of the 27th term and the 1st meeting of the 28th term on May 31, 2024. Through the election, Professor Ju-Ming Wang was elected as the President. The Executive Directors are Won-Jing Wang, Hong-Chen Chen, Woei-Jer Chuang, Hung-Yuan (Peter) Chi. The Executive Supervisor is Fang-Jen Lee. Additionally, President Ju-Ming Wang has invited Associate Professor Shih-Ming Lin to serve as the Secretary-General of the 28th term.

The term for the Directors and Supervisors is from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2027. Their duties include attending the Board meetings and discussing relevant society affairs. For a detailed list of the Directors and Supervisors, please visit https://reurl.cc/YEojZo.
